So, by know you figured out that my name is Ran Kunst and that I am a graphic designer and more. I grew up in Amsterdam, Holland but moved to Israel at the age of 21. I've been living in Israel for the last 16 years. I used to live in the center but recently my wife and myself moved to the Northern part of Israel, where houses are cheap, the view is amazing and (most) people are nice. We have two beautiful children and try to enjoy life.


I started drawing when I learned how to hold a pencil and for as long as I remember I knew that I would somehow be working in the field of art or design. It's not always easy wanting to be an artist when you're six and surrounded by potential firemen and police officers, but somehow I managed to survive. I studied design for several years at several places but I am mostly autodidact. After having designed fliers, business cards and the Tel Aviv branch of Tower Records, I discovered web design in 1998 and I knew that I had found my niche.


I used to freelance until I received an offer I could not refuse in 2004 to join a young, energetic company with big plans. At this company my job was to think of interesting internet projects, characterize the websites, design them and work with the developers. I stayed with them for five years and today, I have over 11 years of experience in creating and designing both small websites and large, complicated websites. I also illustrate, write XHTML with CSS and last year I learned Flash actionscript(2) and I developed some games. Recently I decided to be my own boss again. I am now older, much wiser and plan to take over the world.
